Abaya Central Style Guide: Afternoon Tea

Luxury Afternoon Tea in London 

London's best loved tradition. Finding places to have Afternoon Tea is one of my favourite past time. Situated in the heart of Mayfair, the Dorchester is a much loved place to experience afternoon tea at its finest. Afternoon Tea is usually a mixture of savoury and sweet delights. A selection of finger sandwiches, delicate french pastries and cakes, warm scones accompanied with strawberry jam and clotted cream. The Dorchester is known to have their own blends of rare and special teas. The Tea is served on the Promenade (as seen in the picture below), a rich warm seating area. The entrance of the Promenade is celebrated by grand fresh flowers. The Promenade is marked with large marble columns, palms and lush Golden(ish) couches. ♥
